Screen Squirts presents 16 NY area contemporary artists using the camera as a tool to explore their own visual dialogue. The videos and prints in this exhibition examine love and lust, obsession and sacrifice, patriotism, identity and the unexpected. These artists surprise our visual expectations by manipulating the sense of duration, intensity or intent of the actions captured in their pieces. They confront and challenge the viewers’ space; pushing to expand an image sophisticated audience’s perspective with provocative and diverse new art. |

Day de Dada Journey to the Edge of Dada: a travelling performance art show, is kicking off at Vlepo Gallery on April 3rd at 2pm with performances in and out of the gallery, then winding its way toward the Muddy Cup via SIIAS, Tattfoo Temple of Art and Design and St. George, Tompkinsville and Stapleton. All are welcome
