April 3rd to April 25  opening reception April 3 12:30pm - 2pm Screen Squirts presents 16 NY area contemporary artists using the camera as a tool to explore their own visual dialogue.  The videos and prints in this exhibition examine love and lust, obsession and sacrifice, patriotism, identity and the unexpected.  These artists surprise our visual expectations by manipulating the sense of duration, intensity or intent of the actions captured in their pieces.  They confront and challenge the viewers’ space; pushing to expand an image sophisticated audience’s perspective with provocative and diverse new art.
