Gert Kumi, violinist, is a native of Albania. A graduate of Juilliard, he made his solo debut at Alice Tully hall, and has snce played solo recitals at Paul Hall and Morse Hall at Juilliard. He made his orchestral debut with the Tirana Philharmonic Orchestra at age sixteen, and has appeared as a soloist in New York with the MW Festival orchestra after winning their Concerto Competition in 2001. From 1988 to 2000 he toured extensively throughout Europe with the Young Virtuosi of Tirana, Albania chamber orchestra where he played as concert master and soloist. Mr. Kumi has won many first prizes with this orchestra in international festivals such as Kirintische Sommer Festival in Austria, the European Festival for chanber orchestras in bnelgium, and Murcia International Festival in Spain. He has recorded for Vatican Radio, Bayerische Rundfunk, ORT XZDF RAI and Swedish Television and Radio.
Vincent Moncada, cellist, is a native of Staten Island. He holds a degree from the Manhattan School of Music. He has earned a number of professional awards and honors from the Western Union Share the Dream Scholarship, the Lincoln Center Chamber Music Competition, and the Conrad Strasser Memorial Award. he has performed as guest soloist with a number of orchestras throughout the US and abroad. Moncada currently teaches music at Tottenville Hig School and conducts the Staten Island Boro Wide Program
