Vlepo Gallery and the Art lab Collaborate on Art Sale for Tsunami Relief Effort

Vlepo Gallery and the Art Lab have received donations of artwork by local artists for sale on January 13th with the entire price of the artwork to be donated to the Tsunami relief effort. The sale will take place at Vlepo Gallery throughout the day.
Several Staten Island artists, Herman Zaage, Bill Murphy, Ann Marie McDonald, Rob Sollett, Susan Ledwith, Veronica Alvarez to name a few (go to "participating artist link" for a complete list of participating artists), have donated original artwork and prints to be sold on this day. Annette Marten has made a special edition print of her watercolor "Bridging the Gap" which anyone making a cash or check donation equal to or greater than $25 will receive.
Vlepo Gallery with its sister operation Gifted Twist Gift Shop (a contributing retailer) will also be a collection point for donations going to SIRF Tsunami Relief Fund c.o Commerce Bank. Dollar for dollar donations will be matched by the SI Bank and Trust Foundation up to $125, 000.
All are invited to an after work social starting at 5pm. Food is being donated by Meatballs Plus of St. George and beverages by Wine So Fine in Eltingville. |
